Every LIGA piece begins with a decision: to use only what is right, regardless of what is easy.
Our merino fibre is grown in the highlands of South Africa, where unique climatic conditions produce fibres at 16.8 microns in diameter. Standard merino sits between 18 and 24 microns. Below 17 is where softness becomes physically perceptible against skin, not a claim, but a measurable difference.
From there, raw fibre travels to a family-run spinning mill in northern Italy, founded in 1890 and now in its fifth generation. Washing, dyeing, and spinning are carried out with the same precision applied for 135 years, supplying some of the world's most recognised fashion houses along the way. That knowledge does not transfer. It accumulates.
Our fabrics and materials are selected with the same rigour. Natural, non-polluting treatments are applied to every finished garment to preserve fibre integrity, extend wear life, and enhance how each piece feels against skin.
We do not design for seasons. We select, construct, and finish for years, for people who buy once and buy right.
