As with all garments that we create, we like to harness the best qualities of each natural fibre, and this is what we hope to have achieved with our wool cashmere garments. 

Glossary

Gauge: Stitches per inch of fabric. Our 7-gauge knit is chunky by design, structured weight that holds its shape.

Merino microns: Fibre diameter measured in microns. Standard merino sits at 18–24 microns. Ours is 16.8 - finer, softer, more durable.

Rib stitch: Vertical column construction that traps air, adding warmth without weight. Used on our cuffs and hem edges.

Hand-linking: Each seam joined loop by loop by hand. The reason our garments hold their shape through years of wear.

Cashmere: Fine undercoat fibre from the Kashmir goat. Blended at 10% to elevate softness beyond what merino alone achieves.

Stage 1 - The fibre

16.8 microns. Most merino sits between 18–24. Below 17 is where softness becomes physically perceptible against skin — not a marketing claim, a measurable fact. Sourced from the highland conditions of South Africa, where unique climate produces fibres of exceptional delicacy. Combined with 10% cashmere to elevate hand feel beyond what merino alone can achieve.

Stage 2 - The yarn

The finest fibre means nothing if spun carelessly. Our yarn is produced by a family-run Italian spinning mill founded in 1890, fifth generation, 135 years of unbroken expertise, supplying some of the world's most recognised fashion houses. Every stage: washing, dyeing, spinning, done entirely in Italy. The result is yarn that is consistent, traceable, and built to honour the material it starts with.

Stage 3 - The knit

A 7-gauge construction built for structure and longevity. Each garment is handled individually by Italian technicians with over 50 years of specialist expertise. Natural, hypoallergenic treatments are applied to the finished piece, preserving fibre integrity, enhancing softness, extending wear life. This is knitwear made the way it has always deserved to be made.
